What each content type is good for

Blank pages are for merging: a separator sheet, a placeholder for a page still to come, or the back of a single-sided document you must submit as duplex. Lines make writing paper for notes, exams and journals; grids make squared paper for maths, diagrams, floor plans and pixel sketches, and both print identically on every printer because they are vector.

Lorem Ipsum fills pages with paragraphs of placeholder text, which is what you want when testing anything that handles documents: does the viewer paginate correctly, does the OCR tool find text, does the compression tool behave, does the upload form accept a multi-page file.
